Neil Rolnick and Bob Gluck will draw upon their personal musical histories and philosophical perspectives to discuss the nature and future of the field of Electroacoustic Music. Questions to be raised include its place within the broader enterprise of musical composition, performance, repertoire, and history. The speakers will challenge assumptions commonly made within the field about why and how we do what do we, and the language we use to describe its practices.
